"My heart goes out to all the families and their tremendous losses."

My best friend, Shirley Mealey and Ray Hagley, were my friends in Huntington schools many years ago.

I later lived in CA and heard of the crash and phoned quickly..finally reaching a distraught lady who answered Dr. Hagley's office phone and told me they were both in the plane. I felt so helpless!

Shirley and I had often talked and written of getting our families together while they were all young.

My heart goes out to all the families and their tremendous losses.

I never knew Dr. Ray Hagley.

What impressed me was that when I drove a Jingle Bike[selling Ice Cream] for His Father in the summer of 1960..He and His wife asked to adopt me.

I sometimes wonder if they knew that my sister Linda Louise Fraley was the first cousin to Dr. Ray Hagley's wife.

I truly believe that Marshall, the community and the Loved ones of the Dr.and His wife were the real losers.

BTW:

Had I accepted their offer, I would have known the Doctor and His wife and I would still be re-united with my Half sister Linda.
Plus,I would have been historically Linked to a great family.

I will never forget this tragic occurrence and regret that anyone had to lose the life of a loved one.
